A lot of the time we distort reality to tell a story or introduce a new perspective on the world. We can either use multiple exposure pictures or posed photography, but, in the end, what we see is not what was really there. In Liz Darlington's art she likes to take pictures of different people and places and mix them together to create a moment -- and alternate reality where these people and places meet. I think we alter reality because our world is so mundane, so boring, and not exactly the nicest place most of the time. So we like to create our own little reality. Be a God to a little non existent world because the truth is not always fun.
